Architecture shoot preview assignment
Surrounding |
This picture is of Moody Gardens in Galveston, Tx. It shows how the surroundings of the green plants and tropical trees add to the environment of the building.
Patterns |
This picture shows the repetition of the outside of this building
Light |
It shows how the natural light interacts with the inside of the house, but is also manipulated by the different colors of the circles.
Detail |
This picture doesn't give you the full view of the building, but you kind of get a feel for the building just by seeing this.
Angle |
It's just a picture of 4 beams intersecting, but it's really cool because it's so simple, and just something you can see everyday but nobody really notices how interesting it looks

Rules of Composition:
Rule of thirds: If you draw a tic tac toe box Ian and Calvin are in the middle section of it.
Focus: Even though it is an action photo, there is no blur at all, which is really good.
Mergers: Ian's foot is coming out of Calvin's butt, and the wheelbarrow is coming out of his back
